Brian Tevlin Leads Notre Dame To First Men’s Lacrosse Title

Boys’ Track Team Places Second At Essex County Championships

The Livingston High School boys’ track and field team placed second at the Essex County Championships behind Seton Hall Prep on Thursday and Friday, May 18 and 19, at Newark Schools Stadium. GOLFTEAM DEFEATS MILLBURN: The LHS boys’ golf team defeated Millburn, 153-158, at the Canoe Brook Country Club on Wednesday, May 10. The Lancers shot their lowest score of the season, led by Ridhit Beri’s 36 and Ryan Zales’ 37. Livingston next defeated Montclair Kimberley Academy, 158-213, on Thursday, May 11, at Cedar Hill. Jared Zornitzer Runs 50 Mile Marathon; Now Training for Upcoming 100 Mile Race

Jared Zornitzer, a 2020 graduate of Livingston High School and currently a senior studying mechanical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic University, successfully ran a 50 mile “Ultra Marathon.” The race, which nearly doubles the typical 26.2 mile marathon distance, took place in New Paltz, New York, across rigorous terrain in the Shawangunk Mountains. The Livingston High School boys’ track and field team challenged 38 other teams from Essex County and placed second in the Essex County Relays in their home stadium on Friday, May 5.
