GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP:

Livingston's seventh grade girls' travel basketball team recently won the Essex County championship by defeating West Essex, 43-31. This is the third straight year that the team has reached the finals. The girls gave West Essex its first loss in three years earlier in the season. Livingston High School Golf Team Looking “Fore”ward to Start of Season

Livingston High School’s varsity golf team will begin its season at home on Wednesday, April 8, against West Essex High School and looks to build upon the successes of last season. Last year’s team played very strongly in its conference, ending the year with an 11-10 record and placing third in the County Tournament. Head coach John Waddon, who is entering his 16th season at the helm of Lancer golf, believes that this year’s team will play strongly in its conference again and receive leadership from its seven returning players.

LHS Girls' Basketball Team Wins Championship

Last week, the Lady Lancers completed an historic regular season, finishing 11-1 in the SEC Conference to capture their fi rst conference title in 20 years. In a season which featured many highlights, the Lancers currently have a 21-5 record and are on a ten game winning streak.

Scavetta excels at Meet of Champions

The Livingston Lancers' own version of the "Dynamic Duo," Matt Scavetta and Andrew Berger, traveled  to the Bennett Center "bubble" in Toms River on Saturday, February 21, to represent Livingston High School at the prestigious Meet of Champions track and fi eld meet. To qualify for this meet, each athlete had to finish in the top six in the Group IV State Championship meet or earn one of six available wild card spots. Both Scavetta and Berger qualified for the meet in the pole vault.
