Services Held For Rabbi Mallach

Rabbi Mark Mallach, 71, formerly of Livingston, died on April 16. He served as a spiritual leader and senior rabbi at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael in Springfield for 21 years.

Rabbi Mallach was also the president of the Springfield Interfaith Clergy Council and the chairman of the joint chaplaincy committee of the Greater Federation of MetroWest, which hires and supervises the Jewish Chaplains who serve the region.

Rabbi Mallach is survived by his wife, Genya; daughters, Elana Rosenbaum (Scott) and Ester Mallach (Ryan); and five grandchildren.

A service was held on Friday, April 18, at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael.
