Livingston police officers, firefighters and first aid volunteers went to the intersection of West Mt. Pleasant Avenue and South Ashby Avenue on Tuesday, November 3, where a Honda Odyssey had rolled over as a result of a collision with an SUV.

Lock It Up, Livingston

Once again, the Livingston Police Department has reported a wave of criminal activity involving suspects illegally entering unlocked motor vehicles that are parked in residents' driveways. These are crimes of opportunity. Referred to as "handle-flippers," these criminals often go around trying the handles on cars looking for the ones that are open, so that they may easily enter the vehicle and take what they want.

Multiple Vehicles Entered Last Week; Thieves Enter Home Through Garage

Following numerous warnings by Livingston police officials urging residents to lock their vehicles in their driveways, several more vehicles were broken into during the past week. In one case, a garage door opener which was inside a car was used to gain access to the home.
