Sheila Kalisher of Livingston died on February 13.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, to Beatrice and Jack Cohen, Mrs. Kalisher was a former high school English teacher and patented inventor. She attended the University of Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University.
She married Lester Kalisher in 1966 and had two children, Aaron Kalisher (Deb Cohan) and Lisa Kalisher Rivero (Luis). Mrs. Kalisher is also survived by her sister, Judy Harwood, and her brother, Stuart Cohen.
In 1986, she founded an invention company, A.L.L.’S. WELL & CO. She developed greeting card lines and a fishing utility system called the Tackle Box Belt, and was active in the National Society of Inventors.
The funeral service was held on Sunday, February 17 at Bernheim- Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel.
