After months of waiting, Livingston Township manager Michele E. Meade was found not guilty of all charges in connection with an incident which occurred in April 2013.
She had been charged with disorderly conduct for "abusive language" toward a police officer and obstructing justice by Livingston Police Sgt. Kenneth Hanna, and with assault by a photographer on the scene of an Emergency Service Unit training exercise on property adjacent to the Hillside Avenue community center.
The case was heard in West Caldwell and a decision had been expected last May; however, the final opinion was not released until today, Tuesday, September 9, when Meade was found not guilty of all charges.
