The Camuso elves have begun the arduous task of taking down the annual holiday display and putting it away until next year. Nearly 250 gingerbread men were sold this year to help defray the costs of the exhibit. Here, some of the "elves" are shown removing the gingerbread men and alphabetizing them to make collection easier. Below, the gingerbread men stand in formation, ready for pickup. They may be collected and taken home to their families now.

Hundreds of residents, elected officials, township employees, and committee volunteers gathered Tuesday morning, New Year’s Day, at Livingston’s Senior/Community Center for the annual reorganization meeting. It was a time for township officials and residents to reflect on the year that was, while looking forward to 2019.

After winning their reelection bids last fall, Council members Rudy Fernandez, Shawn Klein, and Ed Meinhardt were all sworn in at the start of the meeting. Immediately following those appointments, Fernandez was nominated as deputy mayor for the year. Councilman Al Anthony was next nominated as the new mayor, the second time he will have held the position.
