Jeff Lake Camp (JLC) on August 2 celebrated its fifth year donating nonperishable food and household supplies to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW), a project of Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors (LNHN), as part of its Jeff Lake Gives Back program.
CHOW serves as a resource for more than 35 local families, including families with children, as well as seniors living independently, and CHOW personnel were “thrilled” to partner with JLC once again. “Jeff LakesCamp has been a long-time supporter of our pantry and has steadily increased its donation size year over year,” said Stacey Rubinstein, LNHN president and board member. “However, this year, their fifth year of participation, was one for the books, with the donation size doubling. Our driver, Nick Santinelli, had to make two round trip visits to the camp. We were speechless and, in typical Nick style, he was thrilled.”
