Services Today For Sabatina Leone

Sabatina “Nina” Leone (née Buono), 75, of Livingston, died on Sunday, June 18.

Born in Prata, Avellino, Italy, Mrs. Leone lived in Orange for many years before moving to Livingston 40 years ago.

She was employed as a seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union before retiring, and was a member of the Padre Pio Rosary Society of Mt. Carmel Church.

The wife to Salvino Leone for 47 years, she was the mother of Dina Sage and her husband, Robert; Giuseppe Leone and his wife, Julianne; Sabrina Leone; and Gerardo Leone and his wife, Kari; and the sister of Gabriella Buono and the late Angela Giordano, Salvatore Buono, and Antonia Aversali. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held today, June 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena Church, Livingston, immediately followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
