No Livingston Deaths in August; Indoor Dining Starts Tomorrow

No new COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Livingston during the month of August, according to the township health department. There were a total of 13 new recorded cases during the month, and 51 in the three month period of June through August. As of Tuesday afternoon, September 1, the Livingston Health Department has reported that a total of 527 Livingston residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the first case was recorded in midMarch. 72 of those residents have died as a result of the virus. In response to a recent jump in Livingston’s total COVID-19 cases, as reported by Essex County, the township’s health department has announced that it will soon be updating its local cases on a daily basis.
