The Livingston Lancer varsity baseball team lost to Seton Hall, 17-1, in five innings away, on Monday, May 11; but, then went on for three straight wins. The Lancers defeated Montclair, 8-7, at home on Wednesday, May 13, beat Bloomfield at home, 14-7, on Friday, May 15, and routed Union, 10-0, on Saturday, May 16, at home to finish the week. On Wednesday, the Lancers took on the Montclair Mounties, looking to follow up their five inning loss to Seton Hall with a win. Livingston went down, 4-0, in the top of the first inning after the Mounties plated two runners on an RBI triple and a two-run homerun.
