The Livingston Little League 12 year old Williamsport team continued its successful season by winning the NJ Little League Section 2 championship to go along with the team's District 8 title. The team is now one of four teams that will play for the state championship. The other three teams are Somerset Hills, Monroe Township and Jackson Township. The state tournament will be played in Hammonton, beginning today, Thursday, July 30, in a double elimination series. Livingston will be playing in the first game facing Somerset Hills at 5:30 p.m.
