Alan Joseph Finn, 91, of Livingston died Tuesday, August 25. Arrangements were by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Mr. Finn was employed as a legal investigator for the law firm of Kirlin, Campbell and Keating of Manhattan. After his retirement, he was a volunteer at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, various soup kitchens, and the Great Swamp. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during both World War II and the Korean War. He was the husband of Kathryn Cornish Finn; the father of Karen Finn; Susan and her husband, John Kraft; Carol and her husband, Reverend Paul Sinnott; Alan Finn Jr.; Janet and her husband, Philip Germinario, and Michael Finn. Also surviving are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family has suggested that donations in Mr. Finn's memory be made to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey or to the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR).
