The Fire Department removed a utility pole that fell across the road on Eisenhowever Parkway and responded twice to fires caused when a tree branch fell on wires at Meadowbrook Road and Larkspur Place. Firefighters also discovered a power outage when responding to a reported utility pole fire at 313 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue. On Thursday, September 10, while investigating a report of a utility pole fire at 313 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue, firefighters determined there was a power outage in the area. On Friday, September 11, fire officials removed a utility pole that came down across the road at 405 Eisenhower Parkway.
