At its meeting on Monday evening, April 25, the Livingston Board of Education discussed several ways of formulating official resolutions about its concerns with the PARCC assessments, including addressing the assessment itself, and its impact on high school students. Keeping the current graduation testing exemptions and flexibility, and removing PARCC testing from the junior year, is the goal of interim superintendent Dr. Ernest Palestis. He had explained this at the April 11 Board meeting, as well.
