Jack Maloof

Jack Abraham Maloof, 71, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018. Jack was born August 19, 1946 and grew up in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1968. Shortly after graduating first in his class from John Marshall Law School, Jack established a successful defense practice in 1975. In 2014, he joined a prominent law firm, which then became Braff, Harris, Sukoneck & Maloof. As an experienced litigator handling lawsuits filed against insurance companies and their insureds, Jack’s unique style and commanding personality made him a successful lawyer. He was also an avid golfer and loved Long Beach Island. Jack was married to the love of his life, Marilyn, for 49 years. They lived in Livingston where they raised their three children. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jack is survived by his wife, Marilyn; and his three children and their families: his daughter, Alison (Andy) Quartin, and their children, Spencer and Gavin; his son, Brian (Julie) Maloof, and their children, Jacob, Laila and Skylar; and his daughter, Stephanie (Blake) Mogil, and their children, Jonah and Josslyn.
