Services were held on February 27 for Rita Tepper Horowitz of Livingston, who died on February 24. Arrangements were by Menorah Chapels.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Horowitz graduated from Columbia High School and Syracuse University. She was a realtor in Millburn and active in many community organizations.
Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Jerome, and a son, Alan, she is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Horowitz of Summit and Beth Giladi of Verona; her son, John (Deborah) of Winter Park, Florida; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Council or Staff Holiday Fund at Inglemoor Care Center of Livingston or Chabad of Southeast Morris County.
