R. Bruce Noel died September 21 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. A funeral service will be held today, Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton, Massachusetts. A graduate of Newark College of Engineering, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a civil engineer for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for many years before retiring in 1984. Predeceased by his wife, Arax Zevart, Mr. Noel is survived by his children, Arthur W. of Sharon, Massachusetts, Gary J. of North Caldwell, Barbara G. Noel of Rhinebeck, New York, Adrienne C. Noel of Hillsboro, New Hampshire, and Audra A. Duncan of Rochester, Minnesota; a sister, Doris Smith; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, Massachusetts 02472.
