When Joseph Duker Sr. joined the Livingston Fire Department in 1949, he could not imagine that, 23 years later, a son of his would join the Fire Department and serve the township for 41 years. Or that a grandson would also become a volunteer firefighter in 2013, making the Dukers the first three-generation family of Livingston firefighters as well as the first family to have all three carry the flag at Livingston's Memorial Day Parade.   To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition. ...
