Offer Funeral Mass For Peter J. Cilenti

Peter J. Cilenti, 86, of Livingston, died at Saint Barnabas Medical Center on Thursday, December 18. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life was offered at St. Philomena’s Church on Tuesday, December 23. Born and raised in Orange, Mr. Cilenti moved to Livingston in 1964. After honorably serving in the Army, he became a self-employed mechanic and then owner of the Palladium Lanes in Orange before finally retiring as a maintenance engineer at the Jewish Community Center in West Orange. He served for more than 55 years as a coach with the Livingston National Little League and was a member of the Livingston American Legion Post 201. Predeceased by his wife, Geraldine, in 2012, Mr. Cilenti is survived by his sons: Michael and his wife, Madelaine; Frank and wife, Diane; Anthony and wife, Lynne; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the the Livingston Fire Deptartment, 62 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039. ...
