Maria Antonelli Dies Following Brief Illness

Maria Antonelli of Florham Park, formerly of Livingston, died December 29 following a brief illness. A funeral Mass was offered in her memory on Saturday, January 3, at St. Philomena Church in Livingston. A committal service followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Anthony and Gertrude Gallo, and graduated from Midwood High School in Brooklyn. She lived in Livingston for 50 years before moving to the Wynwood of Florham Park in 2001. Mrs. Antonelli, an active member of St. Philomena Church, worked at Burrelle's Press Clipping Service in Livingston. Later, she had a career in the accounting department of Foster-Wheeler Corporation, also in Livingston. She retired in 1985. Mrs. Antonelli was pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years, Nunzie, and her brothers, Fiore and Carmine Gallo. She is survived by her children, Patrick and his wife, Nancy Antonelli of Livingston, and Mary and her husband, Keith Kebel of Basking Ridge; her brother, Joseph Gallo; and five grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. ...
