The last team to stand in the way of a perfect 6-0 record for the Livingston High School girls’ track and fi eld team in the Super Essex Conference was the West Orange High School Mountaineers. The Lady Lancers, still tired from the Essex County Relays, entered the meet on their home turf on Monday, May 4, knowing that top performances would be needed against the equally talented West Orange team to win the meet. Led by co-captains Annie Werner and Kristi Kwok, who each added two fi rst place fi nishes to the meet, LHS won the battle, 80-60, to end the dual meet season undefeated.
