Heritage Middle School (HMS) has room, and will open additional sections if necessary, to accommodate student requests to take the "Craft Of Language" elective during one of the next three marking periods, announced Pat Boland, assistant superintendent of schools, at the September 21 Board of Education meeting. Parents of eighth graders can call the HMS principal's offi ce, 973-535-8000, extension 8091, to request that their child be placed in the Craft of Language elective. A letter outlining this change in policy is expected to go out to parents on Friday.
