Virginia L. Becker died Tuesday, April 26, in Livingston. She was 83 years old. Arrangements were by the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Born in the Bronx, New York, Mrs. Becker resided in Livingston for the past 52 years. She had worked for many years as a nurse at Morristown Medical Center before her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Morristown Women's Club, and a long-time parishioner of St. Philomena's Church. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert; her children, Debra Bruno (Philip), Mark Becker (Calogera), Dawn Tedeschi (Gene), Dianne Kaeli (David), Donna Taylor (Kenneth), and Virginia Sullivan (Michael); and 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family has announced that donations in Mrs. Becker's name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
