Blessing Service on Sat. For Raymond Prosicki

Raymond Prosicki, 85, died at his residence in Livingston on Sunday, January 22. Visitation will take place at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston tomorrow, Friday, January 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. The blessing service at the funeral home will be held on Saturday, January 28, at 10:30 a.m., followed by the committal service at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Mr. Prosicki was born in Harrison and had lived in Livingston since 1963. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, receiving the Korean Service Medal with two bronze service stars; the United Nations Service Medal; and the National Defense Service Medal. After the war, he owned and operated Smart Cleaners in Irvington, and was an active member of the Central New Jersey Beagle Club. Predeceased by his first wife, Helen Mary, and his son Michael, Mr. Prosicki is survived by his wife of 32 years, Margaret (Ginley); his son, Daniel (Meg); his stepsister, Joan; and two grandchildren.
