William H. Gray, Jr., 84, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Livingston, died at his residence on Sunday, February 12. Visitation will be held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 East Mt. Pleasant Avenue, on Friday, February 17, from 5 to 9 p.m., a with a Masonic service at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 18, at 10 a.m., followed by the committal service at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Mr. Gray was born in Newark and had lived in Livingston before moving to Delray Beach in 2006. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Livingston American Legion, Post 201. He had been an engineer for the County of Essex for many years. He also was a member of Livingston Masonic Lodge #11. Predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy and his brother, Robert, Mr. Gray is survived by his wife Carol (nee Mills); his stepson, Steven (Diane) Krok; and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Federated Church of Livingston, 14 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039.
