Offer Mass Friday For Agostino Petrillo

Agostino A. “Nino” Petrillo, of Livingston died early Monday morning, May 22, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. He was 80 years old. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, on Thursday, May 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Orange, on Friday, May 26, at 10 a.m., followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. To send the family condolences, visit ippolitofuneralhomes.com. Mr. Petrillo was born in Prata, Avellino, Italy, in 1936. He moved to Orange in 1960, where he lived and began to raise his family until he moved to Livingston in 1975, where he spent the remainder of his life. A master skilled foreign car mechanic, he owned and operated Nino’s Foreign Car Repair, as well as NMR, Inc. Mr. Petrillo is survived by his wife of 60 years, Giuseppina (Capozzi); daughters, Elvira Petrillo, Domenica (Richard) Conforti, Carmen (Gregory) Carrino; and son, Nino Jr. (Julie Ann) Petrillo. He is also survived by his brother, Mario (Agnese) Petrillo; his sisters, Alfonsina Trasente, Maria Mauriello; and ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. ...
