The Livingston Township Council, at its meeting on Monday evening, July 11, officially appointed Gregory J. Bonin to the position of township manager. The Council voted unanimously to approve the resolution authorizing the hiring.
Deputy township manager Russ Jones, who was honored for 45 years of service to the township that evening, has been filling in as acting township manager since February. Last October, the Council decided to terminate the employment of former township manager Michele Meade, and soon after embarked on a search for her replacement.
