A 40 day Memorial Mass will be offered for the Rev. Msgr. G. Thomas Burns at St. Raphael Church in Livingston on Tuesday, August 1, at 7 p.m. The community is invited to attend. Father Burns was the pastor of St. Raphael Church for more than 20 years and had retired 16 years ago. He marked the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on May 20, and the parish held a reunion and celebration in his honor. Father Burns died on June 23, shortly after this celebration. The August 1 memorial service which will be officiated by the Rev. Jose Erlito Ebron (also known as Father Lito), the current pastor of St. Raphael Parish.
