Offer Mass July 27 For Mrs. Candeliere

Angelina Candeliere of Livingston, formerly of West Orange, died on Sunday, July 23, at the age of 96. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey and Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, today, Thursday, July 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Philomena’s Roman Catholic Church, 386 South Livingston Avenue, on Friday, July 28, at 11 a.m. The interment will be private. To share a memory or extend condolences, visit codeyjonesfh.com. Mrs. Candeliere was born and raised in Newark. She was graduated from West Side High School and lived in Irvington. She married Frank S. Candeliere Jr., and they lived in South Orange for one year before moving to West Orange; she lived there for 60 years before moving Livingston in 2011. After raising her children, she worked as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years with Rosenberg and Associates in Roseland. She was a member of the Roseland VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary for over 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband; her brother, Melchiore “Mickey” Rizzuto; and her sisters, Anna Rizzuto, Josephine Genna, and Catherine Doris. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Michelle and Damon LaSalle, Francine and Joseph Fonzino, Frank and Patricia Candeliere, and Deborah and Kevin Dillon; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggestions that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Candeliere to the Roseland VFW Post 2619 Ladies’ Auxiliary, 52 Eisenhower Parkway, Roseland, NJ 07068. ...
