Michael Bilancia Dies in Montville

Michael Bilancia, a former Livingston resident, died Saturday, August 19, at The Chelsea in Montville. He was 88 years old. Visitation was held Tuesday, August 22, at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, Lake Hiawatha. The Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, August 23, at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Parsippany. Entombment followed at the Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Born and raised in East Orange, Mr. Bilancia lived in Livingston before moving to Montville Township in 1972. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Bilancia was the owner of Romic Enterprises, a fabric manufacturer of Newark, and later Passaic, for many years, retiring in 1990. Predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie (nee Forlenza) Bilancia, in 2009, and his siblings, Grace Barcelona and Paul Bilancia, he is survived by his three daughters, Patricia Michele and her husband, Nick, of Kenvil; Carol Berardi and her husband, Joseph, of Montville; and Linda Colella and her husband, Joseph, of Montville; his brother, Raymond Bilancia of Utah; and four grandchildren. ...
