Shepard Fleet Dies In Boca Raton, Florida

Shepard Fleet, 92, died on September 11 in Boca Raton, Florida. He and his wife, the late Dorothy Diane Fleet (nee Hamburg) moved to Livingston in 1964, where they lived until moving to Coconut Creek, Florida, in 2006. Born August 24, 1925, in New York City, Mr. Fleet was graduated from Upsala College and worked in the retail appliance trade. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and Marines, he served as a medical corpsman in the Pacific during World War II. In addition to his wife, Shepard was predeceased by his sister, Edna Strauss, and his brother, Marvin Fleet. He is survived by his daughter, Cathi Fleet Robinson; his sons, Richard (Beth) and Julian (Nicole); six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
