Drugs and Books Dominate Debate At School Board Candidates’ Night

Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, November 7, to decide who will fill a seat on the Livingston Board of Education. The two candidates vying for the three-year term expressed their views at the League of Women Voters (LWV) Candidates’ Night this past Wednesday. Running are the incumbent, Charles “Buddy” August, and challenger, James Calderón. About 50 people filled the room at the Senior/Community Center to hear the debate.
