Edward B. Bauers, Jr., 90, of Livingston, died on October 23, 2017. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, October 26, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, New Jersey 07068. A Funeral Service will be offered on Friday, October 27, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Condolences and memories may be shared at farmerfuneral.com. Edward was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lived there for three years, and then moved to Union, New Jersey, where he was raised. In 1966, he and his lovely wife, Bessie, moved and settled in Livingston, New Jersey. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he was a vice president at the former First Jersey National Bank/West in Livingston, New Jersey. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 201 and a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge 11. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Bessie Bauers, and many dear neighbors and friends.
