NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED after a car hit the building housing Livingston Vacuum at 599 South Livingston Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, October 24. According to police, the driver, Itzhak Shapen of Hewlett, New York, was wearing a “boot” medical device on his foot, which apparently got caught in the car’s accelerator.
