Anneliese Helbig, 86, died on October 14 at her home in Livingston. Born in Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany, Mrs. Helbig came to the United States with her husband in 1955. They lived in Bloomfield before moving to Livingston in 1963. Mrs. Helbig was predeceased by her husband, Werner, and her son, Richard, and his wife, Christie. She is survived by her son, Frank, and his wife, Alison, and five grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston on October 21. The family has asked that donations in Mrs. Helbig’ s name be made to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, Iowa 50037-0839.
