Funeral Services Held For Jack Abramsky

Long-time Livingston resident Jack J. Abramsky died on November 9. Services were held on November 12 with arrangements by J. L. Apter Memorial Chapels Born in Newark, Mr. Abramsky earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Pace College and was a senior IRS Federal Treasury Agent group leader for 35 years. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II, but was transferred and fought as a Marine in the South Pacific. His family helped to found the Synagogue of the Suburban Torah Center in Livingston. Predeceased by his brother, Joseph, Mr. Abramsky is survived by his wife, Ruth (Salamon); sons, Larry and Philip (Kathy); and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the North American Conference of Ethiopian Jewry or to the Sato Project. ...
