Janet Hardman

Janet V. Hardman, 94, of Livingston passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. Born in Caldwell, New Jersey, to Paul and Jennie Vanderhoof, Janet served her country proudly in the Army Air Corps during World War II. She was a member of the Women’s Veterans Society of New Jersey and a regular supporter of the Women’s Memorial Foundation. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Hardman, a Livingston police officer and World War II Army veteran; loving mother of Thomas A. Hardman, Jr., Tedd P. Hardman, Terry Kocur and James Hardman; and cherished grandmother of four and greatgrandmother of two. She was a long-time member of Trinity Covenant Church, serving in the choir, and a past officer of the Women’s Guild. A memorial service celebrating Janet’s life will be held at Trinity Covenant Church, 343 East Cedar Street in Livingston on Sunday, January 14, at 4 p.m. ...
