Deacon Joseph R. Francione, 76, of Livingston, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Vincent and Adelina Francione, Joseph resided in Livingston for the past 45 years. Joseph was a proud and loyal parishioner and deacon at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston for 30 years. He worked for 25 years in interior design for Kleinfeld’s in Brooklyn, NY, and for Abraham and Strauss. He later worked as a salesman and buyer for Levitz Furniture. Joseph was predeceased by his dear son, David. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Elaine (nee Passanante). He is also survived by his son, Kevin, and his wife, Cheryl; his daughter-in-law, Susan; his adoring grandchildren, Jesse, Kayla, Joseph, and Nicholas; his sister, Johanna LaMonica; his brother-in-law, Dennis Passanante, and his wife, Jennifer; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston. All family and friends are asked to go directly to church on Friday. Interment will follow Mass at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s name may be made to St. Philomena’s Church, 396 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039. ...
