Helen Wrubel

Helen V. Wrubel, 109, of Livingston passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Born in Long Island, New York to Joseph and Mary Wojtowicz. Helen was a devout parishioner of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church in Livingston, and a member of their Rosary Alter Society. Helen was also an avid gardener. She was an active member in the Livingston AARP chapter, and enjoyed calling bingo at the Cedar Street Commons where she was a resident. Helen was the beloved wife of the late John Wrubel; loving mother of Carole Beller and her husband, Gary, and Thomas Wrubel and his wife, Theda Levitt; cherished grandmother of Jessie Beller and her husband, Scott Calidas; adoring great-grandmother of Zoe Alice Beller Calidas; and dear aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, May 10, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston. The funeral Mass will be Friday, May 11, at 10 a.m.at St. Philomena Church, 386 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s name to St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated. ...
