LIVINGSTON RESIDENT VICTIM IN FATAL CRASH: The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office has identified Teri Steinberg, 79, of Livingston, as the victim of a fatal accident on South Orange Avenue near Latham Court on Wednesday, May 16. According to Livingston police, Steinberg was turning from Latham Court onto South Orange Avenue when her car collided with a New Jersey Transit bus heading toward the Livingston Mall at about 1:15 p.m. The force of the collision caused the car to crash into a nearby wooded area. Shown here, firefighters work to extricate Steinberg from her vehicle. Steinberg was killed in the crash; four people on the bus suffered minor injuries.
