Livingston, along with thousands of other communities across the country, will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7. The event will begin with an opening ceremony at the gazebo in Memorial Park at 5:30 p.m.
“This is an annual communitybuilding campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live,” said Officer Joy Klapal of the Livingston Police Department’s Community Policing Unit. “National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”
