Firefighters Respond to Gas Main Damage

Volunteer firefighters with the Livingston Fire Department this week responded to two reports of gas service damage. On Monday, August 20, fire officials went to 279 South Orange Avenue, where a contractor working to install a water main hit the home’s gas service line. Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) also went to the scene, shutting the gas supply off and making repairs.
