Livingston resident Arturo Fernandez died Saturday, December 22, at the age of 94. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, December 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, December 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Spain, Mr. Fernandez lived in Newark and Kearny before moving to Livingston in 1986.
Predeceased by his wife, Obdulia (nee Guerrero) and his brother, Enrique Fernandez, he is survived by his daughter,AnitaDurso;hissister-in-law, Concha Fernandez; and one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
