Annamarie Rossi, 94, of Livingston, died Tuesday, December 18. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, December 22, at St. Joseph’s Church in Forest City, Pennsylvania. Arrangements were by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home of Forest City.
Ms. Rossi was born to Bernard and Mary Baranowski on May 18, 1924, in Forest City. She was graduated from Forest City High School in 1942 and moved to New Jersey, where she worked for General Electric.
She married Joseph Rossi of Orange in 1949, and raised five children, Louis, Bernard, Joann, Annmarie, and Joseph. During that time, she did the bookkeeping for the family paint and wallcovering store, Rossi’s, in Orange. From 1976 to 1986, she ran Rossi Decorating Center in Cedar Grove.
She was a parishioner of St. Philomena and St. Raphael Roman Catholic Churches in Livingston.
Ms. Rossi was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Baranowski, and his wife, Dolores. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Amelia and Jill Rossi, John Petroccia and Jeffrey Lorine, along with 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
