Services Were Held For Marvin Schwalb

Dr. Marvin Schwalb of Livingston died on April 10. He was a professor of microbiology and molecular genetics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for over 45 years and also served as the associate director of the Institute of Genomic Medicine. Predeceased by his brother, Bruce, Dr. Schwalb is survived by Karen, his wife of 56 years; his daughters, Robin, Heidi and Abby; and his sister, Karen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newark Arts (newarkarts.org) or MAC Angels Foundation (macangels.org), which supports people with ALS.
