Chapel Service Held For Rose Liebman, 79

Rose Liebman of West Orange, formerly of Livingston, died Sunday, April 21, at the age of 79. A chapel service took place on Wednesday, April 24 at Menorah Chapels at Millburn in Union. Interment followed at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton. Mrs. Liebman was born in Newark and resided in Irvington, Roselle Park, Hazelton, Pennsylvania, and in Livingston for 25 years, before moving to West Orange. She attended Irvington High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. A homemaker, she was a member of Hadassah and the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Auxiliary, for which she volunteered for over 30 years. Mrs. Liebman is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norman; her daughters, Gail Meadow and her husband, Craig, and Stacey Smith and her husband, Richard; and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and to Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. ...
