Plastic Toys to Go to Needy:
Outdoor plastic toys, such as Little Tikes cars and playhouses, as well as plastic dollhouses, action figures, and other items, will be collected at Livingston’s household Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding Event on Sunday, June 9. The toys, which should be “gently used,” will be redistributed to local families in need by the group Second Chance Toys.
On June 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents may take these, along with their unwanted, old, or broken electronics and small appliances, to the Senior/Community Center at 204 Hillside Avenue. On-site paper document shredding will also be offered, and all services are free for Livingston residents.
