Dodgers Defeat Maplewood, 15-5

The Livingston Dodgers of the U.S. Over Thirty Baseball league improved its record to 4-1 with a 15-5 win over the Maplewood Rail Riders on Sunday, June 23, in Maplewood. This coming Sunday, June 30, they will face off against the New Jersey Royals in a doubleheader at the Livingston High School field. Game time is 9 a.m. The Royals record is 5-1. In the Maplewood game, the Dodgers scored three times in the first inning. Frank Moretti and Troy Evans both drew walks, and Angel Roman promptly doubled to drive them in. Two more Dodgers scored in the second, as Evans reached base and scored on a Roman hit.
