Prompted by an article in the Tribune, Livingston Philanthropies Inc. (LPI) has a new website and Facebook page, thanks to Livingston resident Allison Eglow. Noted LPI founder and director Jeff Friedman, “In a recent June issue of the Tribune, Livingston’s publication of record, I asked for volunteers of all types – which we still need. Now in about a week’s time, LPI enjoys a brand-new, beautifully designed website and fun Facebook page, because of the hard work and creative skills of Livingston resident Allison Eglow. Those who would like to contribute to LPI’s Vehicle Fund can do so by credit card on its website at njhomeless.org; through Paypal at paypal.me/lpinj; or by mail to LPI, P.O. Box 247, Livingston, NJ 07039. “Volunteer vehicles are not always easy to schedule, and my personal car has sustained damage over the years,” said Friedman. “We’re beyond overdue for a dedicated LPI vehicle. Thanks so much, altruistic Livingston friends and neighbors. As ...
